About

Welcome! I am an assistant professor at the Department of Physics of the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB, Canada. Founded on a comprehensive education in engineering science, electromagnetic theory, and radio frequency engineering, I enjoy researching and developing advanced electronics to shape our future. As of September 2024, I am licensed as a Professional Engineer in New Brunswick.

I am currently establishing the Electronics in Remote and Adverse Surroundings (ERAS) lab and research group. Our github organization is located at https://github.com/ERAS-Research.
Contact me at reuschel (et) maplecircuitry (dot) org for general inquiries and academic exchange.

From August 2021 through December 2024, I was project lead and staff engineer with the Radio and Space Physics Laboratory of Prof. Dr. P. T. Jayachandran at the University of New Brunswick. My focus was on instrumentation development, and deployment and maintenance of measurement equipment of the Canadian High Arctic Ionospheric Network (CHAIN).
Other assignments included electromagnetic compatibility of advanced electronic control units at Robert Bosch GmbH, and system-level assessment of high-speed digital interfaces at Hamburg University of Technology.
